As a little girl I was always fond of creating things. I remember when I was in the fourth grade, I drew my first portrait of another student and refused to let her have it. Of course, over the years I lost it and wish I had just given it to her. Fast forward to 2009, I took my first official art course outside of high school. It was one of the few courses I could manage to actually pass my first year of college. Intermediate Perspective Drawing. We recreated still life's and drew amazing charcoal drawings capturing the different angels of lighting. I loved the class and wished all my classes could captivate my attention like Intermediate Perspective Drawing. I had found my love language.

In 2013, I picked up painting. I had found another love in the art world, and it was breath taking. I lost a number of pieces through the strife's of my life but the memory and feelings my art gave me will forever remain etched in my mind. Passion, desire, and an internal longing to create drives me to continue being the artist I am today.
